Former World Champion Tyson Fury Announces Retirement

Tyson Fury, the former heavyweight boxing champion from Britain, took to social media to announce his retirement from boxing.

Hi everybody, I’m going to make this short and sweet. I’d like to announce my retirement from boxing. It’s been a blast, I’ve loved every single minute of it. God bless everybody, see you on the other side.

In December 2024, Fury participated in a rematch against Oleksandr Usyk for the WBC, WBA, and WBO heavyweight titles, which ended with a unanimous decision loss for him. Previously, in May 2024, Fury lost to Usyk by a split decision in a fight for the title of undisputed world champion. His record has 34 wins (24 by knockout), 2 losses, and 1 draw.
