Japan's Naoya Inoue, former undisputed bantamweight world champion, can fight WBC and WBO featherweight champion Stephen Fulton of the United States in May in Japan.
Inoue had his last fight against Britain's Paul Butler in December, 2022. In that fight Naoya knocked out his opponent in the 11th round.
Inoue was in the ring last June against Nonito Donaire. The fight, which was stopped in the second round, ended in favor of Naoya by TKO. He has 24 wins (21 by KO) and no defeats under his belt.
Fulton came to the ring in June, 2022, against his compatriot Daniel Roman. Stephen won that fight by unanimous decision. He has 21 wins (eight by knockout) without a single loss.
