Former world champion in eight weight categories Manny Pacquiao spoke about the upcoming fight against American Mario Barrios, which is scheduled to take place on July 19 in Las Vegas (USA).

I believe fighting with Barrios, we can give a good fight and we can entertain the fans. I mean, that's pretty sure, because Barrios is a good fighter also, he's a champion. You know me, I always bring surprises to the fans, like what I did before.
Barrios last stepped into the ring against Abel Ramos in November 2024. That fight went the full distance and ended in a split decision defeat for Mario. He has 29 wins (18 by knockout), two losses and one draw.
Pacquiao's last fight in the professional ring was against Cuban Yordenis Ugas in August 2021 in Las Vegas (USA). Manny lost that fight by unanimous decision. He has 62 wins (39 by knockout), eight losses and two draws.
