On July 12 in New York City, the third match between Irish boxer Katie Taylor and Puerto Rican Amanda Serrano will take place for the title of undisputed world champion in women's super lightweight boxing.
The first bout between Taylor and Serrano happened in April 2022, lasting the full distance and resulting in a split decision victory for Katie.
The women met again in the ring in November 2024. In this match, which also went the distance, Katie won by unanimous decision. Taylor currently boasts a record of 24 wins (six by knockout) and one loss. Meanwhile, Serrano has 47 wins (31 by knockout), three losses, and one draw.
