Wilder tells why Benavidez will beat Canelo

Former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder believes David Benavidez will defeat absolute super middleweight champion Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez.

Deontay Wilder for Dontae's Boxing Nation
Canelo's too small for him. That's an easy fight for Benavidez in my opinion. I think he's gonna wear him down even quicker. I think Caleb Plant gave Benavidez more of a challenge than Canelo would give him.

Álvarez had his last fight against Gennady Golovkin in September 2022. Saúl won that fight by unanimous decision. He has 58 wins (39 by KO), two draws and two losses.

Benavidez came to the ring on March 26 against Caleb Plant. That fight lasted the whole distance and ended in David's favor by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 27 wins (23 by knockout) and no losses.
