Breanna Clark creates new 400M T20 record winning Paralympic Gold

Breanna Clark won Paralympic Gold in 400M T20 women’s event creating a new world record, finishing at 55.18 seconds. Yulia Shuliar came in second in the event and grabbed the silver medal with the time of 56.18 seconds. Meanwhile Brazil’s Jardenia Felix Barbosa claimed the bronze after finishing the race at 57.43 seconds.

This is the second consecutive gold medal for Clark at the Paralympics who also won it during the 2016 Rio Paralympics. Clark’s mother Roslyn Clark won an Olympic silver during the 1976 games. T20 disability class is for athletes who have “intellectual impairment”.
