China leads the Paralympic Medal Tally after the conclusion of Day 2 claiming 8 Gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 10 bronze medals so far. Great Britain are in second place with 17 medals, six of them gold, eight of them silver, and three of them bronze. ROC is in third place with 17 medals but has two fewer silver medals than Great Britain.

Great Britain had a terrific day, claiming 11 medals. Lee Pearson highlighted Great Britain’s effort as he cruised to another gold medal and now has a whopping 12 Paralympic Gold medals. ROC also enjoyed a lot of success and remained impressive in swimming events.
