CPL Final to get underway today

Caribbean Premier League(CPL) is going to witness a new champion today as St. Lucia Kings and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots are going to clash against each other. St. Kitts has won the toss and will bat first. The Kings enter the game after beating the Trinbago Knight Riders by 21 runs courtesy of 34 runs innings and a five-wicket haul by David Wiese, also receiving contributions from Mark Deyal who piled up 78 runs off just 44 balls. Meanwhile, the Patriots gunned down a 179 target with thirteen deliveries to spare as Ewin Lewis smoked 77 runs off 39 balls.

For Kings, the top-scorer is Roston Chase who has made 403 runs at an average of 50.37. Meanwhile, Kings’ top bowler has been Jeavor Royal who has scooped up 12 wickets. Patriots’ major run-scorer has been Evin Lewis who has compiled 420 runs while Dominic Drakes is their leading wicket-taker with 15 wickets.
