Cricket: Anrich Nortje ruled out of the Indian Test Series

South African pace battery Anrich Nortje will not participate in South Africa’s home test series against India. He is unable to participate due to a hip injury that has sidelined him since the T20 World Cup. This is a big blow to the South Africans because Anrich has been their premier bowler as he has claimed 25 wickets in just five test matches with an average of around 20. For his career, Anrich has taken 47 wickets in just 21 innings of 12 Tests. He has taken three five-wicket hauls at the Test level. South Africa will play the First Test against India on 26 December without spectators in Johannesburg.
