The last test between England and India is in the danger of being called off as coronavirus has spread its wings to the Indian camp. During the fourth day of the fourth test, India’s head coach Ravi Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun, and fielding coach R Shridar tested positive for COVID-19 and had to be isolated. Today, the lead physio Nitin Patel also returned a positive test which resulted in India’s training session and the press conference being canceled.

Indians are two-one up in the Test series and beat England in the last test by a huge margin as their bowling overwhelmed the English batters in their second innings. India can’t lose the series but England may not get the chance to tie the series if the fifth test gets canceled as the pandemic once again reminds everyone that it is here to stay for a long time.
