Dutch Grand Prix: Max Verstappen claims pole position

Max Verstappen has shone in front of his home crowd as he prevailed over Lewis Hamilton in the Qualifying round. Verstappen came into the Qualifying round after coming on top during the third Free Practise session yesterday as he and Hamilton battled it out in the race as expected by a lot of F1 fans.

Verstappen and Hamilton engaged in an intense last lap tussle as the former edged out the latter by a mere 0.038 seconds. Valterri Botas finished at third place 0.337 seconds behind Verstappen while Pierre Gasly claimed the fourth position. Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sain Jr., Antonio Giovinazzi, Esteban Ocon, Fernando Alonso, and Daniel Riccardo finished from fifth-tenth position respectively. Verstappen will lead tomorrow’s race after securing pole position.
