Red Bull Racing driver Yuki Tsunoda was involved in a crash during the qualifying session of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. The incident took place at the beginning of qualifying at the Imola circuit.
As he exited Turn 6, the Japanese driver lost control of his car, which crashed into the barriers at high speed. The strong impact caused the car to overturn and sustain significant damage.
Tsunoda managed to leave the car on his own. Following the accident, the session was temporarily halted with a red flag.
