On May 9, Max Verstappen, the four-time reigning world champion and driver for Red Bull Racing, participated in test runs at the Nürburgring, driving a GT3 category car.
This information was reported by Auto Motor und Sport.
According to sources, Verstappen was testing the Ferrari 296 GT3. During these tests, the Dutch racer completed several laps around the legendary Nordschleife track.
It’s worth noting that the tests were originally intended to be kept “confidential,” which led Verstappen to race under a fictitious name, "Franz Hermann."
However, his real name was visible on his helmet and racing suit, thus making the driver behind the wheel identifiable.
Previously, Verstappen commented on the potential end of his racing career.
