Faith Kipyegon finishes first in women's 1500m

Faith Kipyegon helped Kenya to another gold medal as she came on top during women’s 1500m in the Tokyo Olympics. Not only did she win a gold but she also set a new Olympic World record in the event, finishing the race in 3:53.11 minutes.

Laura Mir of Great Britain claimed the silver medal while Sifan Hassan ended up with a bronze for the Netherlands. Faith also won the gold medal in women’s 1500m during the 2016 Rio Olympics.
