Britain’s Fallon Sherrock became the first woman to reach a televised final of the Professional Darts Corporation(PDC) Finals. However, she lost in the finals to three-time world champion Michael van Gerwen.
In the Semi-Finals, Sherrock completed a stellar comeback winning 11-10 after being down 6-10 against the world’s fifth-ranked Dimitri Van den Bergh. However, the opposite of the Semi-Finals happened in the Finals, Fallon took a 6-3 lead but then lost 7-11.
This is what Sherrock said after the Finals, "I'm so proud of myself, especially to push Michael as much as I did. I can't even put into words how I was feeling when I was 6-3 up. I was shaking."
