
Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov arrived in Manchester together with his representative, Ulyqbek Asanbayev, as reported by Telecomasia.net.
The 20-year-old footballer has signed a contract with the British club and will wear the number 45 jersey. Manchester City’s head coach, Pep Guardiola, was also present at the signing, showing personal interest in Khusanov's transfer.
According to media reports, Manchester City will pay over 40 million euros for the transfer of the Uzbekistan national team defender.
Khusanov previously played for the Belarusian side Energetik-BGU before moving to Lens. During his time with the French club, he participated in 31 matches and provided one assist. His agreement with Lens is valid until June 2027, and Transfermarkt values him at approximately 12 million euros.
Earlier, Telecomasia.net reported that Abdukodir Khusanov was waiting for a visa for his transfer to Manchester City.
