Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has decided to leave the Catalan club at the end of the current season, according to a report by ABS.
The German manager reached this decision independently, having contemplated it since September, and has now opted to end his tenure when the season concludes.
The report states that the 60-year-old informed his coaching staff of his decision, citing fatigue as a key factor. Additionally, he expressed disappointment with the attitude of certain players and regretted the lack of support from the club’s leadership.
Hansi Flick took charge of Barcelona in late May 2024. In his debut season as head coach, he led the Catalan side to victories in La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup.
After 11 Matchdays in the current La Liga campaign, the Blaugrana sit second in the standings with 25 points.
In their next fixture, Barcelona will travel to face Celta de Vigo on November 9. The start is scheduled for 23:00 GMT+3.
