Al-Hilal to Pay Neymar $65 Million for Contract Termination

Brazilian winger Neymar of Al-Hilal plans to terminate his contract with the Saudi club and seeks compensation. This was reported by Globo Esporte.

In the event of an early contract termination, the player is expecting a payout of $65 million, which corresponds to his salary until the end of the agreement currently set to last until the summer of 2025.

Since November, he has been recovering from a thigh injury, and prior to that, he missed a year due to a torn cruciate ligament.

Neymar has been with Al-Hilal since August 2023. He has played seven matches for the club, scoring one goal and providing three assists. The transfer market value of the 32-year-old Brazilian is estimated at €15 million by Transfermarkt.

Earlier, Al-Hilal's head coach Jorge Jesus mentioned in an interview with Footmercato that Neymar will not play in the second half of the Saudi Pro League.
