London's Arsenal have confirmed the signing of midfielder Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad and the Spanish national team.
In the past season, the midfielder participated in 48 matches for the San Sebastián club across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing two assists. Transfermarkt estimates the player at 60 million euros.
Earlier, journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Arsenal would pay 65 million euros for Zubimendi's transfer in several payments.
A product of Real Sociedad's academy, Zubimendi has been with his hometown club since 2020 and has won the Copa del Rey.
