Arteta Praises Opponent’s Goalkeeper Donnarumma After Champions League Exit

Arsenal's head coach Mikel Arteta expressed his thoughts on his team's 1-2 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals. He emphasized that PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma played a crucial role in the outcome.

Mikel Arteta
First of all, congratulations to PSG for being in the final. Talking about merits, I think we deserved much more. This competition is about the boxes and in both boxes are the strikers and the goalkeepers and theirs was the best in both games.

Arteta also highlighted that his team was much closer to victory than the final score suggests and expressed pride in how his players handled the pressure.

In the Champions League final, PSG will compete against Inter, who defeated Barcelona in the semifinals. This match will take place on May 31 in Munich.
