Barcelona are close to signing 16-year-old Dinamo Zagreb winger Cardoso Varela, Marca reports citing Record.
According to the source, the Catalan club is ready to pay about 5 million euros for the transfer of the Portuguese, but the total amount of the deal including bonuses and additional conditions may reach 20 million euros.
After signing, Cardoso will remain at Dinamo on loan and will move to Barcelona only in the summer of 2026.
Earlier, the media reported that Barcelona sporting director Deco held talks with the agent of the young player.
