Brazilian national team announces new coach

The Brazilian national team press office announced the appointment of Ramon Menezes as acting head coach.

Previously, the coach worked in the national youth team of up to 20 years. With him, the Brazilian youth team managed to win the U-20 World Cup.

Menezes will debut in his new status in an away test match against Morocco on March 25. Earlier, the Brazilians lost to Croatia (1-1, 2-4 on penalties) in a World Cup quarterfinal game.

The meeting was held in Ar-Rayyan at the Education City stadium and ended with the victory of Zlatko Dalić's wards.

The day before, it was reported that Zinedine Zidane and Jose Mourinho are seen as potential replacements for Tite, who resigned as coach of the Seleção after the World Cup.
