Chelsea board support Potter and have no plans to sack him

Chelsea head coach Graham Potter will most likely keep his position.

This is reported by journalist Matt Lowe in his social networks. According to him, the position of the board of directors of the Blues towards the specialist has not changed.

The Briton continues to receive support after the home defeat to Southampton in the 24th round of the EPL (0-1).

Southampton are 20th in the EPL standings with 18 points. Potter's side extended their winless run in the league to four games and are tenth in the table with 31 points.

The 47-year-old will take over at Chelsea on September 9, 2022, replacing the dismissed German Thomas Tuchel. His contract with the club runs until the summer of 2027.
