London football club Chelsea has officially announced the acquisition of winger Jamie Gittens, previously of Borussia Dortmund.
According to information on the English team’s website, the player's contract is set to run until the summer of 2032. The transfer fee is estimated by Transfermarkt to be around €64.3 million.
Gittens is a product of the Manchester City academy. In September 2020, he transferred to Borussia’s youth team. Since summer 2022, he has been a part of the first team in the German club.
In the 2024/25 season, Jamie Gittens played 49 matches for Borussia across all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing five assists.
