Chinese Footballer Diagnosed with Brain Death Following Head Injury

A young player from the Beijing Guoan youth team, Guo Jiaxuan, was diagnosed with brain death after sustaining a severe head injury during a friendly match, according to the German newspaper Bild.

The injury occurred when an opponent's knee struck him in the head, resulting in a state of clinical death. Guo's brother confirmed the doctors' diagnosis on social media, stating that "he had too much bleeding in his head and that there was little hope of survival."

Prior to this incident, Guo was involved in the FC Bayern World Squad project, which aims to identify and develop young talents for Bayern Munich. In other news, a 16-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper tragically passed away after chesting the ball.
