Cristiano Ronaldo's Statue Displayed in Times Square for 40th Birthday

To celebrate the 40th birthday of Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo on February 5, a statue of him has been unveiled in Times Square, New York City.

The 3.6-meter tall statue, placed on a truck and painted in red and green colors, was created by Sergio Furnari.

Throughout his career, Ronaldo has scored a total of 923 goals: 788 at the club level and 135 for the Portuguese national team. He has won the Ballon d'Or five times and has also claimed the Champions League trophy five times. In 2016, Ronaldo led the Portuguese national team to victory in the European Championship.
