We need to defend against Messi, but not with individual guarding. We know how much he runs, how much he likes to work with the ball. Discipline will be crucial. If we can repeat what we did against Brazil, we have nothing to fear.
On December 9, Brazil lost to Croatia in the quarterfinals of the World Cup in Qatar. The main time of the match ended in a 0-0 draw. In the extra 30 minutes the teams hit each other's net once. In the penalty shoot-out the Croats were stronger.
December 9, Argentina's national team also defeated the Netherlands in the quarterfinals in a penalty shootout. Croats will meet with the Argentines in the semifinals on December 13. The match will begin at 22:00 GMT+3.
