Former Portugal midfielder Daniel Miguel (Danny) shared his opinion on Cristiano Ronaldo's performance at the World Cup in Qatar.

Danny, quoted by Sport-Express
We were all disappointed to see the best player in the world on the bench [in the match against Switzerland], but the truth is that we won and played a good game. But I believe that Ronaldo will still score some goals in this World Cup and give us what it takes to become world champions!

Portugal defeated Switzerland 6-1 in the round of 16 of the World Cup. Ronaldo appeared on the field in the second half and didn't give assists or scored any goals. The 37-year-old forward had four matches at the world championship in Qatar, where he scored one goal.

The Portugal national team will have its next match on December 10. Morocco will be its opponent in the quarterfinals. This game will take place on December 10, the starting whistle will sound at 18:00 GMT+3.
