Former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder David Beckham has officially been awarded a knighthood in recognition of his outstanding contributions to sport and charity.
He received the honor from King Charles III of the United Kingdom.
During his playing career, Beckham won major trophies including the English Premier League title and the UEFA Champions League. He currently owns the football club Inter Miami.
