This final marked the 24-year-old Norwegian's eighth appearance for Manchester City in finals, and he has not managed to score or provide an assist in any of them.
In the current season, Haaland has scored 30 goals and made four assists in 41 matches for the club.
For the first time since 2017, no Manchester City player has been included in the shortlist for the Premier League Player of the Season. Additionally, none of the City players have been nominated for the Premier League Young Player of the Season award this year.
Currently, after playing 36 matches, Manchester City are in sixth place in the Premier League table.
