Former Barcelona and Anji striker, and current president of the Cameroonian Football Association Samuel Eto'o attacked a man with a camera after the 4-1 final match of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar between Brazil and South Korea.

La Opinion published a video showing Eto'o attacking a man with a camera outside the 974 stadium in Doha. Fans approached the former Inter and Chelsea player for a photo, but later a man showed up and had a confrontation with Eto'o. The ex-footballer kicked the man, and he fell to the ground. The 41-year-old footballer then left the scene in a hurry.

Eto'o ended his career in 2019, and is staying in Qatar as a legacy ambassador for the 2022 World Cup. Notably, the last club in Eto'o's career was Qatar SC.
