The Independent reported that FIFA has secured permission to support the LGBT community in Qatar starting with the second round of the group stage of the tournament, which starts on November 25.

According to the source, FIFA has notified the national federations that the rainbow flag is acceptable for use in World Cup 2022 stadiums. The organization explained that Qatar had provided the necessary conditions.

Meanwhile, some national federations are skeptical about Qatar's guarantees, referring to the previous episodes with confiscation of rainbow flags.

The second round of the group stage of World Cup 2022 in Qatar started at 13:00 GMT+3 with a match between Wales and Iran.
