FIFA earns $1 billion more from the 2022 World Cup in Qatar than from the World Cup in Russia

FIFA income from the World Cup in Qatar exceeded the amount earned by the organization four years ago for the tournament in Russia, reports Sport24.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino said at a press conference that revenues in Qatar exceeded those in Russia by $1 billion.

France and Argentina have advanced to the final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The French beat the Moroccans 2-0 in the semifinals and Argentina outplayed Croatia 3-0 in the semifinals.

The match for third place Croatia vs Morocco will be held on December 17 at 18:00 GMT+3 and the final game Argentina vs France will be held December 18 at 18:00 GMT+3.
