International Football Federation President Gianni Infantino defended the hosts of the World Cup in Qatar, which begins Nov. 20.

Gianni Infantino
If Europeans really care about the plight of migrant workers, they can create legal channels for these workers to move to Europe and get a better job. This lopsided moral lesson from Europe is simply hypocritical. We need to invest in helping these people, in their education and in giving them a better future and a better hope.

Previously, the organizers of the World Cup in Qatar have been criticized by the western representatives because of the low wages of migrant employers constructing the tournament facilities. Moreover, there were numerous cases of human rights violations in Qatar.
