The Bureau of the International Federation of Football (FIFA) has decided to immediately suspend the activities of the Congolese Football Association (FECOFOOT) and the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), as announced on the organization’s website.
According to the statement, the Congolese Football Association was suspended due to interference from third parties. This decision was made in conjunction with the African Confederation of Football. The sanctions will be lifted once the association regains control over its headquarters, technical center, and other facilities.
The Pakistan Football Federation's activities have been halted due to its refusal to adopt a revised constitution that ensures fair elections. The sanctions will be lifted once the proposed version is approved by the organization's congress, as recommended by FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation.
