Spanish football club Barcelona has reached an agreement with head coach Hans-Dieter Flick to extend his contract, according to insider Fabrizio Romano.
The new contract will be valid until June 2027. An official announcement from the club is expected by the end of May.
Flick took charge of the Catalan team in May 2024, and his previous contract was set to expire at the end of the 2025/26 season. Under his leadership, the team has won the Copa del Rey, the Spanish Supercup and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Barcelona currently lead the La Liga’s table with a seven-point advantage over their nearest competitor, with three matches left in the season.
