Renowned Portuguese football agent Paulo Barbosa commented on Portugal's defeat in the World Cup quarter-final match against Morocco.

The reason for the defeat is very simple: the Moroccans played much better than we did, so we can congratulate them. We underestimated Morocco, this team plays steadily. They looked better throughout the match, and they showed that they are well prepared. The only thing we can regret now are our own mistakes. The Moroccan team deserved to reach the semifinals. We had to take into account the mistakes we made during the tournament.

The quarterfinal match between Morocco and Portugal ended with a score of 1-0 in favor of the African team. The only goal of the match was scored by Youssef En-Nesyri in the 42nd minute.
