Former Barcelona player Hleb reacts to Messi and Ronaldo's play at 2022 World Cup

Former Belarusian and Barcelona player Alexander Hleb in a conversation with Telecom Asia Sport shared his opinion about the game of Argentine forward Lionel Messi and Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo at the World Cup in Qatar.

Alexander Hleb exclusively for Telecom Asia Sport
I think it's not worth comparing them because they haven't shown their best game yet. After a bad start, the Argentines will learn lessons, Messi and the team will improve. If not, their chances of leaving the group will be very slim. The Portuguese team started the tournament with a victory, but it wasn't impressive. It's hard to say how far they will advance.

In its first match at the World Cup, Argentina's national team lost to Saudi Arabia by a score of 1-2. The only goal of the Argentine team was scored by Messi, who converted the penalty. The Portuguese national team started the tournament with a victory over Ghana 3-2, Ronaldo scored the goal.
In the next matches Argentina's rivals will be Mexico (November 26) and Poland (November 30). The Portuguese will play Uruguay (28 November) and South Korea (2 December) in the group stage.
