Former Roma defender Sergei Gurenko has commented on the team's performance in the current Serie A season and evaluated the club’s frequent change of coaches.

The problem with Roma is that the club’s management can’t decide what they want. They were unhappy with one coach, then the next one came in and they aren’t satisfied again. Sometimes the club makes mistakes while recruiting the players. This is Roma's issue – the management doesn’t have a consistent course of action.

After 21 rounds, the Romans sit in ninth place in the Italian league table, having earned 27 points under coach Claudio Ranieri. Before Ranieri, Ivan Juric managed Roma from September to November 2024.
