Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola responded to questions about a potential return to Barcelona as club president. Guardiola previously played for and managed the Catalan club.
Guardiola, 54, was quoted by Sport.es:
Becoming Barcelona president? I don’t reject Barça. You’re always a fan of where you started. But me with a tie in the presidential box? No, I personally can’t see myself doing that.
Guardiola played for Barcelona from 1990 to 2001 and served as head coach from 2008 to 2012.
He currently manages Manchester City in England. After 11 matches, City sit second in the Premier League standings with 22 points, four behind leaders Arsenal in London.
