The 32-year-old striker thus moved into the top five in England’s all-time appearances list. The record holder is goalkeeper Peter Shilton, who played 125 times and appeared at three World Cups. Behind him are Wayne Rooney (120), David Beckham (115) and Steven Gerrard (114).
Kane made his England debut in 2015. His international tally now stands at 108 appearances, 73 goals and 19 assists. He has reached the finals of Euro 2020 and Euro 2024 with England.
