
24-year-old Brazil national team forward and silver medalist of the 2021 Copa America, Vinicius Junior, is close to extending his contract with Real Madrid, according to journalist Nicolo Schira.
The insider reports that the forward's agreement with los Blancos will be effective until the end of June 2030. Vinicius's current contract with Real Madrid expires at the end of June 2027.
On February 12, The Athletic Football reported that the player's representatives and the Madrid club's management were in talks regarding the extension of the forward's contract. According to Cadena Ser on February 15, Vinicius wants to earn over 25 million euros under the new contract with Real.
In the 2024/2025 season, the Brazilian winger played 18 matches in La Liga, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists, as well as participating in seven UEFA Champions League matches (seven goals, three assists). Transfermarkt estimates Vinicius's market value at 200 million euros.
