Carlo Ancelotti has signed a contract with the Brazilian Football Confederation and will become the head coach of the national team starting May 26. The Athletic journalist David Ornstein reported this news.
Ancelotti will leave Real Madrid after the final match of the La Liga season. He has been in charge of Real since 2021 and previously from 2013 to 2015.
Real Madrid currently sit in second place in the La Liga standings with 75 points. Following their match with Barcelona (3-4) on May 11, the Madrid club has nearly lost all chances for the championship.
It was also reported that Real Madrid fans insulted Ancelotti after the defeat to the Blaugrana.
