Liverpool scouts will watch the young Spanish forward at 2022 World Cup

Liverpool are interested in Atletico Madrid and Spain forward Nico Williams.

According to journalist Ekrem Konur, the English have sent scouts to Qatar to watch the 20-year-old player's performances at the World Cup. The Spaniards will face Germany, Japan and Costa Rica in the group stage of the tournament.

It should be noted that Nico's older brother Iñaki Williams will also take part in the Qatari World Cup, but as a member of the Ghanaian national team.

Nico Williams' contract with the Bilbao-based club runs until 2024, and his market value is estimated at €25 million according to Transfermarkt. This season, the Spaniard has recorded three goals and three assists in 14 Spanish La Liga games.
