
Manchester City management will install a statue near the Etihad Stadium dedicated to midfielder and captain Kevin De Bruyne, who will leave the English club at the end of the current season.
The statue will be placed at one of the entrances to City's home stadium.
Recently, Manchester City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak presented a mosaic in honor of the Belgian footballer.
In early April, Kevin De Bruyne announced his departure from the English club on his social networks after the end of the current season.
The 33-year-old Belgian has been playing for Manchester City since 2015. During this time, he has won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, five League Cups, the Champions League, the Super Cup and the Club World Cup.
In total, Kevin De Bruyne played 421 matches in all competitions, scored 108 goals and made 177 assists.
Earlier, ESPN reported that Kevin De Bruyne wanted to stay in Manchester City and extend his contract.
