Ahead of the Club World Cup starting on June 15, Manchester City aim to invest €214.2 million in acquiring Florian Wirtz, a midfielder from Bayer Leverkusen, and Tijjani Reijnders, a player from AC Milan.
According to Mirror, Bayer estimate Wirtz's transfer at over £100 million (approximately €119 million), but this is not a problem for the City. AC Milan have mentioned that acquiring Reijnders will cost Man City more than £56 million (around €66 million).
It's noted that Pep Guardiola, the head coach of City, sees Wirtz as a potential replacement for 33-year-old Kevin De Bruyne, who is expected to leave the team at the end of the season. Real Madrid are also showing interest in Wirtz and Reijnders.
