Manchester United Debt Exceeds £1 Billion

Manchester United’s debt has exceeded £1 billion. The BBC reports the club took a new £105 million loan over the summer.

Since June 30 the club has spent £167 million on transfers, and by midyear the Red Devils’ debt was already £637 million.

The club is trying to optimize their resources, yet their struggles on the field make it harder. After four rounds of the Premier League, Manchester United sit 14th with four points.
