PSG forward Kylian Mbappé met with Robert Lewandowski six months ago to persuade the Pole to move to the Parisian club.

According to Le Parisien, Mbappé, who extended his contract in May, together with the club decided to convince the Polish striker to move to PSG.

Lewandowski was the main target of the Parisians during the summer transfer window. Mbappé held a meeting with him, but the plan failed and the Pole moved from Bayern to Barcelona.

Earlier it was reported that Mbappé also persuaded his French national team partner Aurélien Tchouameni to move to PSG, as the midfielder himself said in an interview with L'Equipe.
