Messi Takes First Place on MLS All-Time Top Scorers List

The 38-year-old Argentine forward of Inter Miami, Lionel Messi, has taken first place on the MLS top scorers list. Yesterday, in a match against Atlanta United, he scored two goals and helped his team secure a convincing 4-0 victory.

Lionel Messi now has 26 goals and 19 assists in 27 games for the American club. The second place belongs to Los Angeles striker Denis Bouanga with 24 goals. Third place is held by Nashville forward Sam Surridge, who scored 23 goals.

The Argentine has been playing for Inter Miami since 2023. His contract runs until the end of December 2025. According to Transfermarkt, the 38-year-old forward’s market value is 18 million euros.

Inter Miami’s next match will be away against Nashville. The game will take place on October 19 and start at 1:00 GMT+3.
