Croatia midfielder and captain Luka Modrić commented on the team's draw against Morocco in the first round of the group stage of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Luka Modrić to Sportske Novosti
It was a difficult match. The first half was especially hard. We had our chances at the end of the first half and it's a pity we didn't take advantage of them. If we had scored, the opponents would have had to open up. We were better, but we should have scored.

On November 23, the Croatian national team played a draw against Morocco in the first round group stage match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The meeting ended with a score of 0-0.
